Poetry
(Swans - June 2, 2014)
I saw the bat
tonight
a bat among a squadron of bats
wing commander
faster than sound
splitting the air
first
tasting the dusk
before the rest
brave nimrod
on wings of light
swift stalking
in the halo of the moon
