Genesis Two

by Guido Monte

Poetry

(Swans - October 23, 2006)
a

at the beginning
from a universe named chaos
from a deep sleep with no dreams,
here's one breath on primordial waters
unending breath inside tacit sighs

(and weak babelic voices say:)

"yes, come"

"am, agaccheh"
  "amen, veni"
    "sì, vieni"
" ja, kom... jà, kom Þú"
    "thik he, idrh ah"
         "sì, ven"

    "oui, viens"
     "bale, biò"
      "nam, ija"

(and chaos : "já, ég kem skjótt," yes, I'm coming soon)
