Poetry
(Swans - July 14, 2008)
As time is hovering in a pond of shadow, the beating inside is softened.
A drop of rain is gliding down the leaves. Silence is arising out of the
song of birds, the anger of a wasp trapped in the teeth of wild pink
peonies nearby and the breath of a fish in the river downwards.
A light-eyed shinny sight is catching a second, a third, two halves,
a hole, and suddenly, Midway from here and there, a cracked bell is tolling.
