(« barren and void / that never dies, / on a grey prairie of asphodels / I got lost in a dark wood... / no light, but rather darkness visible / from distant lands. // how well that we are blind... / little girl, get up / to the life... / she is the one that can see, / my mother, / the soul, / the rest is silence. // peace, / no more fool's paradise / dream of a ridiculous man / thereby we went out again to see the stars. // we're dust and shade / like a reflection in a glass... / the horizon, / a sound of water! / it never ends »)
