les vrais poètes, qui sont-ils?
poet is one of my friends
diagnosed with schizophrenia
who every day, on the phone
(some years ago)
for months told me
about his émouvantes
hallucinations;
poet was a girl
with down syndrome,
on television,
who smiling gave
a flower, una flor
to a person next;
poets are a dog and
a donkey that yesterday,
near a wheat field,
just gazed at me
with their deep eyes.
poetry is a shell
on an old beach
una concha
en una playa qualquiera,
a forgotten shell
une coquille oubliée,
talking to me about
una luz pura
a pure light.
