Your Beauty Washes Over Me Like Rain
by Jeffery Klaehn
Poetry
(Swans - September 21, 2009)
This is your mystery, your story
Full of beauty and all-encompassing love
A brushstroke washes the canvas clean
You start over with a new direction
Dreaming of me as you paint your words
Writing just like Keats, Shelley and Brontë
About sorrow, rain and the wheels of passion
