(Swans - October 19, 2009)
mi ritrovai per una selva oscura,
I found myself inside a dark wood,
hungry clouds swag on the deep—
spelunca alta
fuit vastoque immanis hiatu
scrupea
tuta lacu nigro
nemorumque tenebris—
and a vast cave was there
by a black lake
and the forest darkness sheltered
down into the winding cavern
we groped our tedious way...
all was darkness
